This is the 24th year Community Servings has raised money through the event, Pie in the Sky. The Fini Concierge team volunteered the day before Thanksgiving to help deliver pies, assist with logistics, and manage inventory. In addition to volunteering, we also were excited to support the team ‘Pie it Forward’ from Big Foot Moving & Storage to sell pies and raise money for the organization.
Proceeds from the event helped Community Services deliver meals for any dependents and adult care givers, in addition to the critically ill, home bound client to relieve the burden on the entire family and to ensure that parents can continue to healthily feed their children even though they are sick. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed learning about Boston’s Community Servings and look forward to working with them again!
