Boston St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick’s Day Events in Boston

St. Patrick’s Day look a little bit different this year due to the Coronavirus. While we still want everyone to get your green clothes ready, we encourage you to practice social distancing during your celebratory events.

The famous St. Patrick’s Day Parade through South Boston is usually just the beginning of fun things to do to celebrate the city’s Irish heritage. However, due to Coronavirus precautions, the event has been cancelled this year. If you and your family are saddened by the lack of a parade, we encourage you and your little ones to create your own mini parade that can take place on your driveway or through a neighborhood park. Gather up all your green decorations and play bagpipe music from your portable speakers to get in the festive spirit safely.
